Born in Cataluña, Spain, a globetrotter for interest and need, Sixe Paredes started graffiti in the late 80s.
Since then, his artistic evolution has come to embrace Sixe not only painting but also sculpture, installation, video art and combining public art with studio work.
Key to this development are his travels around the world, with special emphasis to the South-American continent.
Concerned about the pre-Columbian cultures that have led to the use of techniques such as pottery or weaving. He puts in conflicts the traditional techniques mixed with his contemporary style that he calls “primitive futurism” through animals, human figures and forms of ancestral figures.
